Ed Shirrell
Senior Pastor

Ed has ministered at Faith Community Church since 1982. He is a Vietnam War Veteran and a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, and also a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God College in Dallas, Texas with a Bachelors degree in Bible. Ed has a unique gift for giving relevant, thought-provoking messages in a simple, easy to apply manor. His leadership and teaching skills have won him much praise and he is one of the most respected and sought-after ministers in the area.

Ed and Karen have been married for 31 years. Along with supporting Ed's leadership in the church, Karen also serves as our Children's Director. She is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Masters of Art in Elementary Education. A retired school teacher, Karen's love and compassion for kids of all ages contribute greatly to our children's ministry Promiseland. Click here for more information on our children's ministry.

Brock Beesley
Creative Arts Pastor

Brock accepted the position of Creative Arts Pastor here at Faith Community Church in January 2008. He holds a degree from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. A native of Ontario, CANADA, Brock has been in ministry for almost 15 years, both in full-time evangelism and executive pastoral capacities. At FCC, Brock oversees the creative arts elements of the church along with giving oversight to the small group ministries.

Brock began his formal music training at the age of 3 using a macaroni & cheese box with a ruler taped to the end that eventually would become a violin. Later, he continued formal music training on the piano, trombone, percussion and music theory before attending Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Brock ministers at Faith with a diverse skill in fine arts coupled alongside a passionate heart for God.

Brock and his wife, Deanna, have been married for 9 years and have a 2-year old girl, Isabella. Deanna oversees First Choice Messengers, Inc. of Orlando, Florida, working as the District Manager for Fleetwood Management.


	Jon Shirrell Administrative Pastor jshirrell@faith-community.org Jon has ministered at Faith since January of 2002. He is a graduate of Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri with a Bachelors of Art degree in Pastoral Ministries and is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. Jon also holds an MBA with an emphasis in public administration. Jon oversees all of the ministries that operate within Faith Community Church and ensures that each of our weekend and midweek services are running smoothly and efficiently. Jon also oversees many of the technology resources around the campus. Jon and Elissa were married in July of 2003. Elissa is a graduate of SIU in Edwardsville, Illinois. She works as a teacher in the Fox School District and assists in various areas around Faith Community.

	Kris Humphrey Student Ministries Pastor kris@faith-community.org Kris began his ministry at Faith Community in January of 2007. He is a graduate of Central Bible College in Springfield Missouri and is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. Kris oversees the student ministries here at Faith. He and his wife Jessica moved here from Kansas and he is an avid OU fan. Jessica is a nurse with Delmar Gardens and also helps in the youth department.
