Ed Shirrell
Senior Pastor
Ed has ministered at Faith Community Church since 1982. He is a Vietnam War Veteran and a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, and also a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God College in Dallas, Texas with a Bachelors degree in Bible. Ed has a unique gift for giving relevant, thought-provoking messages in a simple, easy to apply manor. His leadership and teaching skills have won him much praise and he is one of the most respected and sought-after ministers in the area.
Ed and Karen have been married for 31 years. Along with supporting Ed's leadership in the church, Karen also serves as our Children's Director. She is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Masters of Art in Elementary Education. A retired school teacher, Karen's love and compassion for kids of all ages contribute greatly to our children's ministry Promiseland. Click here for more information on our children's ministry. |

Jon Shirrell
Administrative Pastor

Jon has ministered at Faith since January of 2002. He is a graduate of Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri with a Bachelors of Art degree in Pastoral Ministries and is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. Jon also holds an MBA with an emphasis in public administration. Jon oversees all of the ministries that operate within Faith Community Church and ensures that each of our weekend and midweek services are running smoothly and efficiently. Jon also oversees many of the technology resources around the campus.
Jon and Elissa were married in July of 2003. Elissa is a graduate of SIU in Edwardsville, Illinois. She works as a teacher in the Fox School District and assists in various areas around Faith Community.

Patrick Ringler
Student Life Pastor

Patrick grew up in southern michigan loving big ten football. Kim is from Burlington IA. They met while they both attended Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota. They were married on July 1, 2000. In their 10 years of marriage they have been blessed with 3 beautiful daughters, Avery, Haley, and Sadey.
Patrick and Kim have served in ministry for 6 years in both Oshkosh WI, and Rapid City SD. They joined the staff here at Faith Community Church in August 2010.

Phillip Haught
Children's Director

Philip and Stacey Haught are both Florida natives. They have been serving in ministry since a very young age. Prior to his position at Faith Community Church Philip was the Children's Pastor at Victorious Life Church North for two years. He is a graduates of the University of South Florida and holds his degree in Secondary Education, with a focus in Social Sciences. In addition to being a children's pastor Philip holds his GMA with Royal Rangers as well as extensive experience with the puppet ministry"One Way Street."
Stacey is the daughter of an evangelist and traveled with "Reality Outreach" who produce the drama "Heavens Gates and Hells Flames" in addition to serving in ministry her whole life Stacey was the Acting instructor for a local theatre in Sarasota, FL as well as a private Christian studio, she has directed 2 main stage productions as well as assisted an opera. Their heart and passion is to see the lives of kids forever impacted by our loving savior, not only the saving power of his love for us but how God has created them each unique and special, they desire to impact the kids not only within the walls of the church but extended throughout the community.
